I pace for about 20 minutes trying to think what topic that I want to challenge myself with this time. It must be something that is worth sharing. Well zip zilch nothing....
Than going thru Facebook... saw my old school and the pictures that are posted. What a time. To be in a missionary school and to say Good morning to the brothers and Brother Director (my time was Brother Ultan Paul [from England] and Brother Vincent [from Ireland] ). We are always proud of the school and the school’s motto Ques Ut Deus and Signum Fidei etc etc ... everything was in Latin. We have brothers who are very strict but most are with patience with our mischiefs. Thinking about it yup... it was the “wonder years”.
Then all grown up it was the working environment, marriage etc.... and the rest is history as the saying goes. There are few matters which I would have done differently especially during my younger days.. but now that I am that age, I don’t think it would help to cry over something which I can’t rewind..dah tak dapat nak tolong dah...
So now you look seriously on the growth of your children to make sure that your kids will not repeat mistakes that you’ve made in the future. I was talking to my Ustaz today morning and I told him that whatever happen to us is always for the best because at times mistakes or sins that we’ve committed is to educate us and to make us a better person. Perkara ini Allah SWT dah sebut dalam surah Al-Baqarah (recited in Al Baqarah about this issues).
To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. Whether you show what is within yourselves or conceal it, Allah will bring you to account for it. Then He will forgive whom He wills and punish whom He wills, and Allah is over all things competent. 2:284
The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and [so have] the believers. All of them have believed in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers, [saying], "We make no distinction between any of His messengers." And they say, "We hear and we obey. [We seek] Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the [final] destination." 2:285
Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people." 2:286
When I look at the verses above, I realized that the problem with all of us is that we never refer to the Quran where Allah SWT has reminded us time and time again about what we have gone through... We never take time to understand and to learn. The above is like an appeal to Allah SWT that we seek Allah SWT’s help in guiding us to the right path. Allah SWT even teaches how to Doa (dua) to Allah SWT. How much Allah SWT loves us? With everything we did Allah still forgives us and gives us stern reminder that don’t do the things which is forbidden to escape from Allah SWT wrath.
You compile all the information and submit and remind your children the beauty of Allah SWT.
Surah AlBaqarah. Ayat 218.

What has not Allah SWT done for us but to ask to submit and remind us the things that we can do to get closer to Allah SWT and be a good Muslim.
Surah Saba'. Ayat 036.
Allah SWT reminds us that Allah SWT gives us everything from riches to poor. Gave us our wives.. Teaches us how to take care of our wives the do’s and don’t ‘s with our wives etc. In the holy Quran everything is from Allah SWT but yet we fail to read his advice to us. How come we still let our lust takes control. We defy everything just because we fail to see the messages that Allah SWT puts into the Holy Quran.
There is nothing more passionate than the words in the Holy Quran. It gives this very soothing feeling just listening to someone reciting the Quran. If you read the Quran it gives you an endless journey through the information gateway to Allah SWT. I implore you to read and the Holy Quran and use the Quran and Hadith to educate your Family as the guidelines is presented systematically in the Quran.
There is this doa we recite before we read the Holy Quran... remember it and May Allah SWT gives you what you ask.
Have a good weekend folks.... Allah SWT bless all of us with Rahmat.
